Modern Slavery Statement

The Lejoux Stroller is committed to conducting its business ethically and responsibly. We recognise our responsibility to take a stand against modern slavery and are committed to improving our practices to combat slavery and human trafficking within our business and supply chain. This statement is made pursuant to Section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes our company's slavery and human trafficking statement for the current financial year.

Our Business and Supply Chains

The Lejoux Stroller operates in the retail sector, specialising in the design, manufacture, and sale of high-quality strollers. Our business activities span across various countries, including sourcing of materials, manufacturing processes, and our sales operations. We are fully aware that our supply chain is extensive and that we share a collective responsibility to ensure ethical practices are maintained throughout every level.

Our Policies on Slavery and Human Trafficking

We are dedicated to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in any part of our business or our supply chains. To this end, we have implemented and enforced effective systems and controls aimed at ensuring slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere within our organisation or in any of our supply chains.

We have also established a Modern Slavery Policy that reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships.

Due Diligence Processes for Slavery and Human Trafficking

As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk, we have systems in place to:

  • Identify and assess potential risk areas in our supply chains.
  • Mitigate the risk of slavery and human trafficking occurring in our supply chains.
  • Monitor potential risk areas in our supply chains.
  • Protect whistleblowers.

Supplier Adherence to Our Values

We have zero tolerance for slavery and human trafficking. To ensure all those in our supply chain and contractors comply with our values, we have in place a supply chain compliance programme.

This programme consists of a rigorous vetting process for all new suppliers and a review of existing suppliers. Our efforts include conducting audits of suppliers, which are designed to evaluate their compliance with our standards for preventing slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains.

Training

To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains and our business, we provide training to our staff. We also require our business partners to provide training to their staff and suppliers and providers.

Our Effectiveness in Combating Slavery and Human Trafficking

We use key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure how effective we have been in ensuring that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place in any part of our business or supply chains. This will include the completion of audits by suppliers, training levels for our staff, and investigations undertaken into reports of slavery and human trafficking.

Further Steps

Following a review of the effectiveness of the steps we have taken this year to ensure that here is no slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains, we intend to take further steps to combat slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains.

This Statement

This statement is made in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes our slavery and human trafficking statement for the current financial year. It has been approved by the organisation's board of directors, who will review and update it annually.
